Bookkeeper:

The qualified candidate will manage company financials and perform clerical support to the principal team. This position will work under the supervision of a principal at the firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Managing all company financials, including purchases, receipts, and payments
  • Payroll processing
  • HR support
    Benefit management
  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Corporate credit card reconciliations and management
  • Preparing monthly and yearly financial reports as requested by leadership
  • Document management
  • Collaborating with leadership to ensure day-to-day financial transactions are precise
  • Verifying transactions are recorded in the correct general ledger
  • Attending weekly project manager meetings
  • Coordination of financial statements with company accountant

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a comparable position
  • Understanding of basic Bookkeeping and Accounting principles
  • High proficiency in MS Office programs – specifically Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Two or four-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not required

Office Assistant:

The qualified candidate to perform clerical support to our comptroller and principal team. This position will work closely with the firm’s accounting team and under the supervision of a Principal at the firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • HR support
  • Benefit knowledge
  • Accounts Payable processing assisting
  • Representing company and clients at the front desk and city offices
  • Corporate credit card reconciliations assistance
  • Web-based applications experience
  • Document management
  • Drafting and updating proposals and tracking efforts of proposals and leads
  • Coordinating and executing company events – external and internal

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High proficiency in MS Office programs – specifically Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills

Professional Civil Engineer:

The qualified candidate will perform civil engineering design, conceptual planning work, and project management duties for commercial, industrial, and residential developments. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project execution, including design, permitting, specifications, calculations, report writing, and project management. This candidate will manage a team of technicians to complete projects and report to senior management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Preparation of design drawings and submittals for storm water systems, sanitary sewer systems, roadway design, water layouts, utility layouts, grading cut fill analysis
  • Designing site plan layouts for new developments
  • Discussing and reviewing potential projects with clients in the initial phase
  • Attending project meetings and managing project progress;
  • Site visits, field observations and investigations to inspect construction and progress as necessary
  • Assigning, managing and collaborating with team members on project development
  • Estimating costs for proposed projects and preparing invoices
  • Preparing project close-out documents
  • Assisting with preparation of proposals
  • Analyzing reports, maps, drawings, reference plans, GIS Data, tests and aerial photographs for design task(s)
  • Navigating development processes in the DFW metroplex
  • Reviewing drawings and provide assistance, as needed, to improve quality, efficiency and competence of work being performed.
  • Attending client and city meetings as necessary
  • Monitor and stay abreast of new developments, technologies and trends in the profession
  • Representing company at industry events
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, prospective clients, city employees, vendors, and referral sources

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must be a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field of engineering, civil preferred but not required, from an accredited university
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, HECRAS, Microsoft Office, and related programs
  • Technical capabilities in site development, roadway design, drainage design, water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems
  • Understanding of surveying work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Excellent project management and teamwork skills
