Bookkeeper:

The qualified candidate will manage company financials and perform clerical support to the principal team. This position will work under the supervision of a principal at the firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Managing all company financials, including purchases, receipts, and payments
  • Payroll processing
  • HR support
    Benefit management
  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Corporate credit card reconciliations and management
  • Preparing monthly and yearly financial reports as requested by leadership
  • Document management
  • Collaborating with leadership to ensure day-to-day financial transactions are precise
  • Verifying transactions are recorded in the correct general ledger
  • Attending weekly project manager meetings
  • Coordination of financial statements with company accountant

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a comparable position
  • Understanding of basic Bookkeeping and Accounting principles
  • High proficiency in MS Office programs – specifically Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information

Office Assistant:

The qualified candidate to perform clerical support to our comptroller and principal team. This position will work closely with the firm’s accounting team and under the supervision of a Principal at the firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

Professional Civil Engineer:

The qualified candidate will perform civil engineering design, conceptual planning work, and project management duties for commercial, industrial, and residential developments. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project execution, including design, permitting, specifications, calculations, report writing, and project management. This candidate will manage a team of technicians to complete projects and report to senior management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Preparation of design drawings and submittals for storm water systems, sanitary sewer systems, roadway design, water layouts, utility layouts, grading cut fill analysis
  • Designing site plan layouts for new developments
  • Discussing and reviewing potential projects with clients in the initial phase
  • Attending project meetings and managing project progress;
  • Site visits, field observations and investigations to inspect construction and progress as necessary
  • Assigning, managing and collaborating with team members on project development
  • Estimating costs for proposed projects and preparing invoices
  • Preparing project close-out documents
  • Assisting with preparation of proposals
  • Analyzing reports, maps, drawings, reference plans, GIS Data, tests and aerial photographs for design task(s)
  • Navigating development processes in the DFW metroplex
  • Reviewing drawings and provide assistance, as needed, to improve quality, efficiency and competence of work being performed.
  • Attending client and city meetings as necessary

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, HECRAS, Microsoft Office, and related programs
  • Technical capabilities in site development, roadway design, drainage design, water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems
  • Understanding of surveying work

The qualified candidate will perform entry-level engineering design and conceptual planning work under the supervision of a Project Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Assisting the project manager in the preparation of design drawings and submittals for storm water systems, sanitary sewer systems, roadway design, water layouts, utility layouts, grading cut fill analysis;
  • Researching infrastructure records;
  • Assisting project manager in site plan layouts for new developments;
  • Collaborating with team members on project development;
  • Attending project meetings and managing project progress;
  • Site visits to inspect construction;
  • Assisting in estimating costs for proposed projects;
  • Assisting project manager in floodplain analysis and drainage/storm water engineering;
  • Preparing project close-out documents;
  • Representing company and clients at city meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field of engineering, civil preferred but not required, from an accredited university
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and related programs
  • Knowledge or coursework related to roadway design, drainage design, water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems is a plus
  • Internship experience is a plus

Surveyor-In-Training [Entry-level]:

We are seeking a candidate responsible for working with and under the supervision of Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) managing boundary and construction staking projects with the goal of independent management of projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Report to Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS)
  • Direction of field crews & CAD techs
  • Solving boundaries
  • Client communication
  • Construction calculations & staking
  • CAD drafting & data processing
  • Preparing & checking survey exhibits & field notes
  • Preparing & checking plats, ALTA surveys, & topo surveys
  • Site visits to supervise crews & collect data

Field Crew [Entry-level]:

We are seeking an individual looking for a career in the land surveying profession. No experience is needed. Winkelmann will provide on the job training and support. This is a great opportunity for advancement in a growing field. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Operate and maintain survey instruments, including levels, data collectors, and GPS equipment
  • Work in the field on control boundary, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and construction staking as part of a two-person field crew
  • Assist in loading and unloading survey equipment from the company vehicle
  • Perform maintenance of field equipment
  • Cut and remove brush and undergrowth for line of sight
  • Install property corners and construction stakes and mark appropriately
  • Perform mathematical calculations and field checking of field data

  • Minimum education level: High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license
